You and yours are welcome to attend any or all of these dates and enjoy the homestead as summer progresses and the beautiful garden blooms.

Sunday, July 24, 2016 – Coutts Centre Arts Festival
Sunday, Aug 21, 2016 – Prairie Sun Camera Obscura Project)

The Centre is open 10 am – 5 pm on all those days – including buildings and washrooms. You can arrive earlier and stay later. The Sundays in May, June & August, the Coutts Centre is open for En Plein Airartists and friends to share Jim Coutts’ vision – whatever the weather. The Art Gallery provides water, coffee and tea and you bring your own picnic lunch.

On July 24 at the Coutts Centre Arts Festival you can also enjoy live music and Shakespeare in the Garden – ROMEO & JULIET – or relax and create in the gardens and out-buildings. Lynnwood Ranch’s Bar-B-Q truck is coming with wood fired classics and refreshments! Or, you can bring your own picnic lunch.

Also on August 21, artists will be working on the unique Prairie Sun Camera Obscura Project – a Southern Alberta first! You’re welcome to join in on the activities, led by internationally known Canadian artists.

The En Plein 2016 exhibition at the Dr. Foster James Penny Building in downtown Lethbridge provides the opportunity to display the work you create in the garden.
